Test Reviews

Test reviews are typically short term engagements which assess the maturity of testing within a project, programme or organisation. They consider all aspects of testing including test assets, test tools, test environments, test management, defect management, processes, techniques, visibility of quality and reporting. Test reviews can also be tailored to our clients’ requirements to focus on specific areas in more detail.

The service provides the stakeholders with a view of the health of testing. This helps our clients to understand where to focus in order to improve quality, reduce costs and decrease the amount of time required to implement systems.

Test Strategies

Test strategies define how testing will be conducted, what testing will be executed, identifies accountability and agrees who will conduct the test activities. The test strategy covers all aspects of testing from requirements to deployment and includes the definition of the roles and responsibilities as well as the approach, high level plan, tools, processes, test phases, reporting, environments and risks associated with the approach.

Test Methodologies and Test Metrics should be very closely linked. The methodology defines how testing is done and the metrics measure how successful the methodology is and provides the tools to drive continuous process improvement.
